From the book series, to the movies, and now a TV series, Lemony Snicket’s masterful creation, A Series of Unfortunate Events, is back with new actors and new life. Season one, with eight episodes, kicks off the story of the Baudelaire children, Violet, the inventor, Klaus, the brains and Sunny, who has razor sharp teeth that can bite through anything, and the loss of their parents. They are sent to their cruel relative Count Olaf where misfortunes and tragedies await. The three kids make a rock solid family and team when facing a series of unfortunate events together.

Anne with an “E”
Anne Shirley is back and better than ever in a reboot of the beloved book series and Canadian movies. This remastered version of the original goes deeper into the life of the little redheaded girl with a big imagination. As the story goes on we get flashbacks into Anne’s life at the orphanages she had the misfortune to call home, among other hardships, like working as a mother’s helper for an abusive family. Netflix takes us back up the road to Avonlea on Prince Edward’s island where we get to relive Anne, with an “E”’s, adventures with all the same characters but with a slight twist.

Gilmore Girls - A Year in the Life
In the last four episodes of this popular show we head back into Stars Hollow for one more year in the lives of our favorite mother daughter duo, Lorelai and Rory Gilmore. An hour long episode for each season, starting with winter and ending with fall, the original writers take us back into the lives of the fast talking, coffee drinking, movie marathon having Lorelai and Rory along with many other characters from the original series. This sequel ties up loose ends and leaves us begging for more. It is a must watch for all Gilmore Girl fans.
