Latino Heritage Week in Photos
On Monday students engaged with their elected representatives and wrote postcards in the rally court in defense of DACA to congress. Yellow was worn by students in honor of Brazil and white was worn for Costa Rica and Guatemala.
On Wednesday students and staff, including Associate Principal Dave Granzotto, played musical chairs in the rally court. Blue was worn by students in honor of Nicaragua, Honduras, and Belize.
On Friday, two piñatas were broken in the rally court and students danced to Latino music to celebrate the independence days of Latin America. Red, green, and baby blue was worn by students to honor Mexico and El Salvador.
