The Las Lomas lady Knights will face off against the Acalanes Dons and the College Park Falcons at two home games on Friday, Feb. 3rd and Tuesday, Feb. 7th; both games will tip-off at 5:30. The Knights have some negative momentum going into these games after facing a 50 point loss against Campolindo on Jan. 31.
“We didn’t play very well that night,” said point guard Natalie Ining.
“We need to stay positive and just focus on team improvement, we really need to try to compete against the rival games we have coming up,” said Charlotte Dietzel, a power forward.
Las Lomas is searching for revenge with this home stay, they lost to both teams in previous matches. Teamwork, and a god attitude will drive the Knights toward a win. They are on a six game losing streak as of now.
“We all need to put 100% into these games,” said Dietzel.
The Knights are scoring an average of 31 points per game and are allowing 47 points per game. The Dons are scoring an average of 57 points per game and are allowing 46. Their similar defenses could result in a close game on Friday.
On average, the Falcons are scoring 39 points per game, and are allowing 53. They are in a similar ballpark as Las Lomas point wise and have a three game losing streak.
Will the Las Lomas Knights defeat the Dons or clip the Falcons’ wings?
